Coolpak’s Commitment to Sustainability: Harnessing the Power of Rainwater

At Coolpak, we focus on providing high-quality cold storage solutions while remaining dedicated to positively impacting the environment. Sustainability is one of our core values, and we strive to minimise our environmental footprint at every opportunity.

One key way we’re doing this is through rainwater harvesting. In addition to the traditional water main supply, we’ve implemented a system that collects rainwater from the roof of our plant for our truck wash system.

By using rainwater that would otherwise go unused, we reduce our dependence on external water sources and help preserve precious resources. The success of this initiative and the lessons learned have led us to plan the installation of two additional rainwater harvesting tanks at our Rolleston site.

This initiative is just one part of our broader commitment to sustainability. We are committed to minimising our environmental impact and aiming for net zero carbon emissions by 2030. We adhere to strict operational guidelines and continuously explore new initiatives to reduce our footprint.
